The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - INSIDER -

Despite having three small children, Bec & Bridge co-designer Bridget Yorston always looks cool, calm and ultra sophisticated.

The Mosman mum runs one of Sydney’s hottest brands, creating aspirational, affordable dresses for modern girls around the globe. Yorston’s well-edited wardrobe of neutral-hued pieces allows her to get dressed fast — so she can manage the morning scramble.

What style advice did your mother give you?

“My mother was never one to press her opinions around personal style on to us. I’m one of five children and she really allowed each of us to be ourselves and to explore

our own personal style.”

What will you tell children Tommy, George and Tilly?

“Similar to the childhood I had growing up, I hope that when it comes to personal style, I will allow my kids to be themselves and to formulate their own opinions on what they like and what they don’t like.”
