Car trouble for Roxy

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - INSIDER -

Her husband is weeks away from walking out of prison, having completed a yearlong incarceration for insider trading. But it seems the long arm of the law could be back to darken the door of PR queen Roxy Jacenko, only this time it ’s a toy car and not illgotten gains being investigated.

Confidential can reveal NSW Police are “taking a close look” at pictures and video posted by Jacenko ( right) across social media last week, which show her children Pixie, 5, and Hunter, 3, driving a mini motorised 4WD on what appear to be public streets in Bondi and Tamarama ( left).

Neither is seen wearing helmets in the footage.

It ’s understood police are investigating to determine if the joy ride breaches any road rules under NSW law, particularly with regard to operating a motorised vehicle without a licence on a public street.

If police do deem Jacenko has broken any rules it will not be the first time she has found herself in hot water for a driving- related slip- up.

Police visited in October last year after she uploaded a selfie on Instagram that showed Pixie sitting in the front seat of Jacenko’s car — without a booster seat.

Police ultimately dropped that investigation.

Jacenko was contacted for comment but had not responded at the time of going to print.
