Olympic lovebirds can’t ride the miles

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - INSIDER -

LOOKS like it’s time to trade in the tandem bike for two singles.

Olympic swimming lovebirds Kyle Chalmers and Madison Wilson (pictured) have called it quits after two years of dating.

Friends of the couple confirmed the breakup last week saying it was Olympic golden boy Chalmers who pulled the pin, citing distance (he lives in Adelaide, she lives in Brisbane) as the main factor.

Although given Chalmers is a Port Adelaide obsessive and Wilson barracks for the Lions, you could say the writing was always on the wall.

Luckily Chalmers’ profile on his sports management website reads almost like a singles ad for anyone interested in catching the eye of the 19-year-old freestyler.

As well as being an Olympic gold medallist, Chalmers is a qualified personal trainer, is starting to learn German, is an avid video gamer and has a “real interest in zoology”.

Form an orderly line ladies.
