NOT all players damaged the NRL’s image over the representative round last weekend. NSW Rugby League chief executive Dave Trodden received a letter from Patrick and Sonya Brennan of the Comfort Inn Aden Mudgee where Brad Fittler and his City team stayed.

“Your players and staff were a pleasure to accommodate and we have never come across a group of people so well-mannered and polite,” they wrote. “Your players and staff are a credit, not only to the NSWRL but also to themselves.

“Thank you for staying with us and you and your team are always welcome in Mudgee.”
