Lucky punter sat on his rear

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - RACING -

YOU see some bizarre things on a racetrack.

At Cessnock last week, a kangaroo bounded between horses during a race and overnight at San Franciso’s Golden Gate Fields, a punter (pictured) was sitting on the track when the field swept by him. Remarkably, no one was injured in the incident with jockeys successfully navigating their mounts around the punter.

TWO locals sans clothing ensured a Scone Cup day tradition continued when they made a dash along the home straight after the last on Friday. One chose to go the “Full Monty” while his mate wore nothing except underpants.
