Fit dads the main goal

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - NEWS -

IT will be the daddy of all soccer games — literally — when the inaugural Dads v Dads soccer challenge kicks off for a good cause at Parramatta next Sunday.

It’s a joint initiative of NSW Health and The Sunday Telegraph to inspire blokes to get off the couch and kick a ball around as part of the government’s Make Healthy Normal Again Campaign.

Thirty dads will play a friendly at Robin Thomas Reserve at Parramatta from 1pm. Steven Forrest, a 38year-old dad, said he is looking forward to the opportunity to strap on the boots and show his son, Stuart, 10. Sydney FC stars and Wanderers stars will attend.
