Crichton a quick learner
SOUTHS coach Michael Maguire has hailed the rise of Angus Crichton.
The second-rower bagged his first hat-trick, and his seventh try in seven games, to help the Rabbitohs defeat the Titans 36-20 at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.
Maguire wasn’t surprised by Crichton’s development de- spite the youngster having time off with previous injuries.
“I’ve always seen signs that he’s going to develop into a great player,” Maguire said.
Teammate John Sutton echoed the sentiment: “When he first came in, he was just raw. Had the strength but just didn’t know how to use it. But he’s definitely developing rapidly.”
