Panthers to lock- in Griffin
ANTHONY Griffin has steered Penrith’s season back on track and now he’s set to be rewarded with a contract extension.
The Sunday Telegraph can reveal Griffin is closing in on a two-year upgrade to ensure he remains at the foot of the mountains until at least the end of the 2020 season.
The former Brisbane men- tor still has one year to serve, but Penrith officials are keen to extend his stay at the club.
Griffin led the Panthers to the second week of the finals in his first season in 2016 and has put them back on their feet this year after a slow start.
It’s understood Penrith view Griffin as a premiership winner.
