JOY OF SIX

Parramatta ($1.65) are holding the lion’s share of investments heading into the final game of Round 15. The Eels have won five straight over the Dragons including earlier this season when they travelled to WIN Stadium and left with a 34-16 result.

BANKING ON A TRY-FEST

TAB customers believe there will be plenty of points on offer in today’s Dragons and Eels match at ANZ Stadium. There has been very good money for the Over 37.5 Points ($1.80) in the Total Points Over/ Under market. History suggests this could be a good bet as the total has gone over that in five of their past six clashes.

JOEL’S A MAGIC DRAGON

It is no surprise to see that there has been some specking for Joel Thompson to be 1st Tryscorer in today’s fixture. The Dragons forward has crossed the line five times this season and represents great value at $26.

MAROONS GAIN SUPPORT

Money continues to come for Queensland ahead of Wednesday’s State Of Origin clash with NSW. The Maroons are now into $2.25 after opening at $2.60 just minutes after their Game I defeat. NSW initially opened at $1.50 to win the game and close out the series but are now out to $1.65.

HISTORY SAYS BLUES

The Blues have an excellent strike rate of wrapping up a series after taking out Game I at Suncorp. On the seven occasions this has occurred, NSW has won Game II in Sydney on six occasions (1985, 1986, 1993, 1996, 2003, 2014).

PUNTERS’ MARGIN CALL

The past 16 Origin matches in Sydney have been decided by 10 points or less, however, punters are piling in to the Queensland 13+ option which is returning a healthy $7.50.
