PUBLIC HOUSE RUGBY LUNCH
MORE than $200 000 was raised for Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation at Public House’s annual rugby lunch on Thursday.
An initiative created by Mitchell Waugh of the Public House Management Group, the event was held at Bistro Moncur and emceed by Fox Sports host Sean Maloney.
Guests, including Wallaby Dean Mumm, chef Guillaume Brahimi and TV host Tony Squires, enjoyed a three-course meal which included Barossa chicken liver pate, salmon marinated in sauvignon blanc, and grilled sirloin, while luxury items such as watches, scotch and weekends at Palm Beach were auctioned.
“Public House is committed to supporting the communities in which our hotels operate and I’m delighted that our annual Rugby Lunch has once again raised much needed funds for The Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick Palliative Care Unit,” Waugh said. KARLIE RUTHERFORD
