LA Puissance, Tues­day night’s ex­hi­bi­tion at Padding­ton’s Comber Street Stu­dios, was all about girl power.

The ex­hibit, which is also open over the week­end, fea­tured works from some of Aus­tralia’s most in­ter­est­ing emerg­ing con­tem­po­rary artists, in­clud­ing Amy Fin­layson, Dina Broad­hurst and fash­ion de­signer Kym Ellery.

The French ti­tle of the show trans­lates to The Power, with part of the pro­ceeds go­ing to­wards char­ity The Rough Pe­riod to help home­less women in Syd­ney.

Guests in­cluded Rachel Rutt, Va­ler­ija Erokhina, Char­lotte Mor­ton and Dai­mon Downey.

Guests sipped on rosé, beer and cider while pe­rus­ing the bound­ary­push­ing art works.
