MUST TRY

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - INSIDER -

1 BEER AND BEEF SANDWICH

At this craft brewery they only brew it “batch by batch”. But what they do produce is some of the most inventive beer on the market, including their sour ales.

2 BREKKIE BLISS BOWL

The vibrant hues of the seasonally fresh produce are enticing but knowing it’s been developed by a nutritionist and sourced from local producers makes it a double win.

3 HOMEMADE GELATO

Keep an eye on the produce markets because if it’s in season and owner Franco Riservato likes it, he will use his trusty gelato maker to serve up a batch.

4 SALMON POKE BOWL

Most everything at this historic hotel is sourced locally and made in house. The burgers are a treat but for something a bit healthier, try the salmon poke bowl.

5 PHO TAI CUON

At the core, it’s a Vietnamese restaurant but there are also influences from Korea, China and the Middle East. For example, try this inspiring Vietnamese take on beef tartare wrapped in rice noodles.
