Hospital Norwest Private BEING the first baby in his mum Laura and dad Daniel’s families for 29 years, Liam is never wanting for affection.

It also helps that both sets of grandparents live close to his home at Baulkham Hills. Laura says she enjoyed a trouble-free first pregnancy and a smooth delivery.

“He was six days overdue and I had a long labour, about 26 hours, with about half that time in hospital,” she says. “But he came naturally and was perfect when he arrived.”

With two very active parents, Laura says Liam is already a regular at weekend cricket, netball and soccer matches, and started his swimming lessons at six months old.

“We’ve managed pretty well,” she says. “We do lots of outings, to play groups and swimming groups.”

Liam slept through the night at nine months, although Laura says she was only ever up a couple of times a night. “He has always been pretty good, and never really unsettled.”
