Footy Show haters are just a bump in my road

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - NEWS - AMELIA SAW FULL INTERVIEW IN TODAY’S STELLAR

ERIN Molan has bigger and better things on her mind than the haters who slammed her on social media over Channel 9’s new-look Footy Show.

The reimagined Footy Show, which debuted on Thursday night minus its longstanding host Paul “Fatty” Vautin, was slammed as a “trainwreck” and a “yawn-fest” with Molan as the host.

“I’ve dealt with other people’s opinions of me for over a decade now. People seem to feel the need to judge me constantly. If I got upset every time someone said something bad about me I couldn’t do this job,” said Molan.

Molan’s main priority is making it through the next few months to deliver a happy baby.

“As long as I’m healthy and baby is healthy I’ll handle anything else,” said Molan.

Nine has yet to find a maternity leave replacement for Molan but she isn’t planning on taking much time off.

And she’s ready to take any barbs in her stride.

“I’ve learnt at this stage of my life that whatever works best for Sean (fiance Sean Ogilvy) and I, and this baby, and what’s best for us as a family unit is what we will do ... regardless of any opinions,” she said.
