PATIENT ANGER AT SHORTAGE OF VACCINE

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - NEWS -

HUNDREDS of patients who lined up for their free flu jabs last week were turned away because the influenza vaccines had not been delivered by the government.

Dr Brad Frankum, NSW president of the Australian Medical Association, said the government needed to step up because there had already been influenza cases in NSW.

NSW Health’s Dr Vicky Sheppeard said there was no shortage, instead distribution was the issue: “We are anticipating completing the pre-orders by next week.”
