GLYN’S DAY ENDS IN PAIN

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - RACING -

A LONG autumn carnival took its toll on Glyn Schofield who had to give up rides after the fifth race when back spasms got the better of him.

Schofield (pictured after winning race four on Higher Ground) could hardly walk or sit down after the race. “Riding at 53kg for a few weeks hasn’t helped,’’ he said. “The muscles dry out.”
