BRITISH singer James Bay has vowed to return to Australia for a full tour off the back of a brief promotional tour for his new hit single, Us.

Universal Music Australia hosted fans and industry types at the Richard Wherrett Theatre in Walsh Bay on Tuesday night as the Hold Back The River and Let It Go singer took to the stage to showcase tracks from his second album, Electric Light, due for release on May 18.

“I did a full tour here in 2016 and it was one of the greatest tours I’ve ever done,” Bay told Insider. “You get the full package from fans — loyalty, excitement and energy. You guys know how to go crazy and you know how to sing loud and you know how to do those really dramatic quiet moments as well.” JONATHON MORAN
