While we won’t see the regal gown until she arrives at St George’s Chapel on Saturday, there is mounting speculation she will wear a gown by British-based Australian designer duo Ralph & Russo.

However, a number of celebrated Australian designers have offered up their suggestions of what they would have created for the princess bride.

While some went for a modern look, Sonia Capellazzo, who recently restored Edwina Batholomew’s grandmother’s wedding dress for her country NSW wedding last month said tradition and nostalgia plays a key role in the romance of a royal wedding dress.
