Heritage listing to save wild brumbies from cull

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - HARRY & MEGHAN - LINDA SILMALIS

THE legendary wild horses of the Snowy Mountains will be saved from slaughter by an unprecedented law that pays tribute to their place in NSW’s heritage.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro’s “brumbies bill” will ban a controversial cull and give the horses legal protection, despite NSW’s top scientists’ fears the mobs are a threat to the alps’ native wildlife.
