IT’S as if Married At First Sight has been super-sized — or, judging by these rippling abs, perhaps put on diet shakes.

Channel 9 will be banking on these 10 cut and curvy Aussies to push television boundaries with the debut of risque reality series Love Island. Hosted by Sophie Monk, the series is based off the hugely successful UK format and will see the 10 housed in a luxury villa in Majorca for up to six weeks. It’s Big Brother crossed with a singles party.

Rugby player Charlie Taylor, 22, is the highest profile of contestants, putting his budding sporting career on hold to work out what he wants to do with his life.

“I am not going on the show just to sleep with someone,” Taylor said. “I am going on the show to have a ball and hopefully ... potentially, find love.”

Love Island will have its season premiere on Nine’s Go! and Now channels next Sunday at 8.30pm.
