FOXTEL rolled out the red car­pet and put on a show on Wed­nes­day night to an­nounce the launch of Fox Show­case — a re­brand of its show­case drama chan­nel.

With tal­ent fly­ing in from over­seas and in­ter­state, the broad­caster of­fered guests a sneak peek of some of the up­com­ing world-class drama that will be on of­fer.

Ni­cole Kid­man sent a video mes­sage to thank Aus­tralia and Foxtel for their sup­port of Big Lit­tle Lies and an­nounce more de­tails of the sec­ond sea­son of the Golden Globe and Emmy award­win­ning drama.

“We have fin­ished pro­duc­tion, it is com­ing to you at the be­gin­ning of next year,” Kid­man said. “I’m glad to be able to tell you we’re send­ing it your way next year.”
