BUY BACK LEASES

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - OPINION -

Water is the most important factor in the survival of outback Australia. As a drastic measure to maintain the survival of farmers and fish in NSW along the Murray Darling Basin, it may be possible to petition the government to buy back the water leases and ask for the release of the megalitres of water held in dams that they stop each year from entering the basin system.

That would save the rivers, the fish and the farmers.
