DAD, SON LOST IN CRASH
FATHER and son Jeffrey and Matty Hills have been found dead inside a light plane that crashed in northern NSW.
Matty, 25 was an adventurous lover of skydiving, wake boarding and motorbike riding, while his 59-year-old dad was a prominent Gold Coast businessman who was on the board of Emmanuel College.
Yesterday morning, rescue crews located the scattered wreckage of the propellerdriven Mooney M20 fourseater plane, which crashed about 27km west of Coffs Harbour on Friday while flying from Murwillumbah to Taree.
Police and emergency personnel had to trek through rugged bush to reach the scene with rain and low cloud preventing helicopter access.
