The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - RACEDAY PREVIEW - — ADAM SHERRY

Giselle Anne has rarely run a bad race and gets her chance to break through. Her early two-year-old form was behind the likes of Accession and Amercement. Battled away for third behind promising Willowheart at Kensington, Oct 9. Deitra was third on debut at Newcastle in May last year before a long break. Will strip fitter for first-up run at Newcastle, Oct 5. Little Rocket Man laid in straight and wasn’t fully tested when fourth at Gosford.

Bet: Giselle Anne win

Shaibanat was caught wide early and worked forward before finishing fourth to Brandenburg when resuming at Kensington, Oct 2. Forgiato debuted with handy third to Al Kaphero at Bathurst, Sept 29. The experience will bring him on. Threeood didn’t have much luck behind Akari here last start.

Bet: Box Quinella and Trifecta 2, 3, 4, 5

Fortnite finished third behind the speedy Vox Populi and Citrouille at Newcastle on Oct 5. Expect him to improve off that run. Designated was spelled after a close second to Two Seas at Grafton, July 11. Looked good winning a Gosford trial recently. Amelika tried hard when fourth to Mahogany Bay on debut.

Bet: Box Quinella and Trifecta 2, 4, 7, 10

Charmed Princess enjoyed a purple patch of form during the winter going from a class 1 to winning the Grafton Guineas. Found them a bit too slick when resuming and ninth in a BM 70 over 1200m at Warwick Farm. Will appreciate the step up to 1350m and drop in class. Beaufort Park is better than his latest run when ninth at Kensington. Galahad’s Quest is in form with wins at past four starts.

Bet: Charmed Princess to win. Box Quinella and Trifecta 1, 2, 7

Zell rolled forward from wide draw to race outside leader and toughed it out to beat stablemate Highbury here last start. Will be forward again from inside draw. Isorich had been tackling metro company before dropping back in grade and finishing second to Arrogant Lass here on Oct 10. Big Bad Bruce broke through at Goulburn last time out. Placed five from 10 and won’t be far away.

Bet: Zell each way, Box Quinella and Trifecta 1, 3, 4, 5

After finishing runner-up seven times, Deelbraka broke through with an emphatic five-length victory at Newcastle a fortnight ago. He can go on with the job. Brilliant Mind will find this easier than last-start fourth to Rancho Notorious at Kensington on Oct 9. Navy Cross led all way at Goulburn to break maiden.

Bet: Deelbraka win

Iresign cracked his maiden with a nice win at Gosford on Oct 3. Step up to 1200m shouldn’t cause any concern. In The Zone broke through for his maiden success at the same meet. His time was fractionally slower but will give another bold sight.

Bet: Iresign to win. Quinella and Trifecta 2/ 5, 6, 8

Highbury showed tenacity to finish short-head second to stablemate Zell here last start after racing. Premier Rose has placed at past two. Keep Seporto safe.

Bet: Highbury win
