The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - FUNDAY TELEGRAPH -

HAVE you ever travelled on an aeroplane on a holiday or to visit someone?

If your family is taking an aeroplane, chances are it will be from Sydney Airport. But did you know it is celebrating its centenary this year?

Way back in 1919, aviation pioneer Nigel Love flew his plane, carrying just one passenger. Now Sydney Airport has thousands of flights and more than 44 million passengers every year.

To celebrate its 100th birthday, the airport will host the Sydney Airport Centenary Runway Run, in partnership with Surf Life Saving Sydney.

On Saturday, November 23, people will be able to race down one of the runways. Also on the day, the airport will be opened up for a unique behind-the-scenes experience, including food trucks, rides, face painting and a visit from Santa Claus and his elves.

To celebrate this family fun event, the Funday Telegraph has five family passes to give away.

To enter, colour in the picture and send it to Sydney Airport Colouring-in Competition, Funday Telegraph, Level 3, 2 Holt St, Surry Hills, NSW 2010. Harry the Dog and the Funday team will pick only the best five entries to receive the passes, so get creative.
