I’m a part of a weekly running group, we call ourselves The Vipers. We’re a health running group, but we’re also a mental health running group, or mental fitness group. Mental health is something we can always improve, and so our group is all about the community, the conversations, all of which are so important.
2 FIND YOUR VILLAGE
Fitness is all about finding your community. Whether that’s online, in your local gym, the local cricket club, a nutrition course. You just need to find some like-minded people to take the journey with you.
3 STAY IN THE GAME
We find people tend to fall off the fitness wagon at about 25. They might have grown up playing football or netball, but then drop out once life gets in the way. So many people wake up in their mid-20s and think ‘where’s my community gone?’”
