1 STAY MIND FIT

I’m a part of a weekly run­ning group, we call our­selves The Vipers. We’re a health run­ning group, but we’re also a men­tal health run­ning group, or men­tal fit­ness group. Men­tal health is some­thing we can al­ways im­prove, and so our group is all about the com­mu­nity, the con­ver­sa­tions, all of which are so im­por­tant.

2 FIND YOUR VIL­LAGE

Fit­ness is all about find­ing your com­mu­nity. Whether that’s on­line, in your lo­cal gym, the lo­cal cricket club, a nutrition course. You just need to find some like-minded peo­ple to take the jour­ney with you.

3 STAY IN THE GAME

We find peo­ple tend to fall off the fit­ness wagon at about 25. They might have grown up play­ing foot­ball or net­ball, but then drop out once life gets in the way. So many peo­ple wake up in their mid-20s and think ‘where’s my com­mu­nity gone?’”
