IT was most def­i­nitely a night to re­mem­ber as a se­lect group of around 800 guests con­verged on Syd­ney air­port to cel­e­brate its

100th an­niver­sary.

Af­ter check­ing in at the ter­mi­nal, guests were driven by bus across the tar­mac for the one-off event in a mar­quee on the run­way.

Hosted by Melissa Doyle, Premier Gla­dys Bere­jik­lian spoke while Tim Draxl and the Syd­ney Sym­phony Orches­tra pro­vided the mu­si­cal back­drop.

Every­one walked away with a present too — a spe­cial com­mem­o­ra­tive Heine­mann bag filled with good­ies that in­cluded La Prairie prod­uct, a can­dle and a bot­tle of
