Fol­low DRSABCD (Dan­ger, Re­sponse, Send for help, Air­way, Breath­ing, CPR, De­fib­ril­la­tion).

Call triple zero and lie the pa­tient down. Keep them still.

If the bite is on a limb, ap­ply a ban­dage ASAP rolling tightly from just above the fin­gers or toes as far as can be reached on the limb.

Im­mo­bilise the limb us­ing splints. Write down the time of the bite and when the ban­dage was ap­plied.

Do not wash venom off the skin or clothes — it may help iden­ti­fi­ca­tion.

Stay with the pa­tient.
