Dad showed courage
The drowning of two Aboriginal boys in the Swan River is a tragedy that could have been prevented.
For Christopher Drage (father of one of the boys) to openly stand up and state he does not blame the police for the death of his son is a refreshing change.
This took courage for this father in a time of grief and so quickly after his son’s death. I feel Mr Drage showed a lot of respect for the police officers who tried to help his son and the other boys.
The elderly Aboriginal man who came out on Tuesday afternoon to blame the deaths on the police did so without knowing the facts of the situation.
Young boys make a few mistakes in life and the result could see a life taken in a split second. May Chris and Trisjack RIP. S CRUDEN Kwinana
