STM’s new fashion editor
STM has appointed Damien Woolnough as its new fashion editor.
Woolnough will bring a wealth of experience to the magazine as a former fashion editor of The Australian, the first editor of vogue.com.au and deputy editor of ELLE Australia. An exceptional feature writer with an eye for great design, and a big profile in the Australian and international fashion worlds, Woolnough is a great asset to The Sunday Times, STM and the Seven West Media group.
He is relocating from Sydney to Perth to join the STM team and will be working across all platforms — print, TV and digital — in the Seven West Media stable.
“The challenge of driving STM’s commitment to the beauty and business of fashion is exciting,” Woolnough said. “I am eager to tap into the rich vein of creative talent running through Western Australia.
“I look forward to working with the inspiring designers, models, photographers and stylists that make Perth a hotspot for some of the boldest and brightest innovators on the Australian fashion landscape.”
Woolnough will replace Claire Davies who is leaving to pursue other projects after being a vital part of STM’s success for the past 14 years.
Woolnough will start on December 3.
