Nuclear way to go

The Sunday Times - - YOUR SAY WA -

Having recently seen a TV program centred on the issue of nuclear power, I found myself imbued with the notion that it would be both prudent and wise for Australia to embrace nuclear power in the interests of our global responsibilities on climate change, and in the interests of us, the end consumers.

It appears that nature has indeed blessed this great land of ours with a solution to cheaper power prices, while powering this nation, literally, in an environmentally safe and responsible way. I also recalled how in recent years there has been a spike in heatwave incidents in Japan.

Could these heatwaves be a direct result of Japan’s move away from nuclear power since the Fukushima meltdown? Just a thought.
