Book boaties

The Sunday Times - - YOUR SAY WA - BRUCE STRANG Floreat

While it’s a case of better late than never, I applaud the State Government for considering legislation in relation to random breath-testing for alcohol and drugs for boaties in order to bring them in line with DUI laws applicable to motorists, motorbike riders and cyclists alike (TST, Jan 6).

Hopefully this will cover all water craft, especially the reckless jetskiers I’ve witnessed on many occasions frightening and endangering innocent water enthusiasts.

The quicker this legislation is introduced the better for all concerned.
