Vic­to­ria Po­lice has cau­tiously de­scribed the shoot­ing of a 23-year-old Ard­mona man on Mon­day night as ac­ci­den­tal.

Armed crime in­ves­ti­ga­tors were on the scene last week at the Ju­bilee Lane prop­erty, as­sisted by crime scene foren­sics of­fi­cers.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions ap­peared to fo­cus on a car­a­van lo­cated in the front gar­den of the prop­erty.

The man pre­sented to Goul­burn Val­ley Health about 9.30 pm on Mon­day with a gun­shot wound to his up­per body, ac­cord­ing to po­lice. The threat­en­ing.

A Stan­hope man, 22, was ar­rested fol­low­ing the in­ci­dent and was later re­leased.
