Suc­cess­ful open day

A good roll-up en­joyed a sausage siz­zle and games in the gar­dens and clu­b­rooms on Oc­to­ber 13.

Many thanks to the club’s helpers, with a spe­cial thanks to chefs Mor­rie, Jan and Veron­ica.

A sur­prise visit by Maddy from News made it even more spe­cial.

To the mem­bers, Tatura com­mu­nity and the Shepp se­niors, we thank you.

The first-time bowlers had a ball and pre­sented them­selves very well.

We fin­ished off with a great af­ter­noon tea, fi­nal­is­ing a good day.

Gold coin do­na­tion for drought re­lief for farm­ers. Chat to your neigh­bours about it. Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 26: Trip to Hang­ing Rock, $30 per head in­cludes morn­ing tea; lunch is at own ex­pense.

Money to paid to­mor­row, Oc­to­ber 24 at the lunch and af­ter­noon tea.

Crazy Whist is on Mon­day, Novem­ber 6.
