‘Relaxing day out’ for guild
The Trefoil Guild took a day for themselves this month attending a day cruise on the MV Mary-Ann at the Port of Echuca.
Trefoil Guild is the adult section of guiding that links members and former members of the Scout Association with women who have not been guides, but are prepared to make the Guide Promise.
The MV Mary-Ann owned by the Moama RSL Club offered the group a ‘‘relaxing day out’’ member Phyll Bramley said.
‘‘We took friends in wheel chairs because it had disability access and we all just really enjoyed the day.’’
More than 20 members and friends attended the cruise, travelling together from Tatura.
Since 2012, the group has financially supported girls to attend camps in Connecticut in the United States, Yorkshire and London in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand.
Good time: More than 20 people attended the cruise earlier this month.
