Farm­ers Fundraiser Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15 a con­cert fea­tur­ing Greg Dudley will be held in the Se­nior Cit­i­zens Clu­b­rooms at 1.30 pm. En­try is by gold coin do­na­tion for farm­ers’ drought relief. This con­cert is open to the pub­lic. Mem­bers let your neigh­bours know about it. Events An­other func­tion is the bus trip to ‘Odd Jug’ at Ruffy and the gem collection at Long­wood on Fri­day, Novem­ber 23. $30/head in­cludes morn­ing tea; lunch is at own ex­pense.

Our next meet­ing is on Novem­ber 14 at 10.30 am in the clu­b­rooms, fol­lowed by lunch and af­ter­noon ac­tiv­i­ties.

Christ­mas lunch is on Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 12 with the an­nual clean-up on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 15 — all mem­bers on deck. Birth­days Novem­ber 3: John Ham­mond.
