Tatura Primary on greens

The Tatura Guardian - - Sport - — John Crilly

Tatura Primary School is currently involved in a program of varying sporting activities within the community and Tatura Bowls Club has been a keen participant for many years in passing on the enjoyment of playing lawn bowls to the younger generation.

Under the current guidance of Tatura Bowls Life member and club stalwart Phil Boyd, a dedicated bowler with years of experience, the primary school children have had regular training sessions at Tatura Bowls Club.

Tatura Bowls Club has purchased and regularly uses special bowls suitable for beginners at the primary school level.

Who knows? With the training undertaken now, theymay well be the champion lawn bowlers of the future.

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’: Tatura Bowls member Phil Boyd with Tatura Primary School Children.
