The Tatura Guardian - - News -

Festive season is

closing in

Next week we call it quits for this year and the silly season begins.

Wednesday, December 12, is our ChristmasDinner.

Make sure you have your name in by tomorrow, December 5.

All donations for our Christmas raffle will be gratefully accepted by Monday, December 10.

Members don’t forget cleanup day on Saturday, December 15; the more who help the quicker it is done.

Don’t miss out

Be sure of your attendance for Christmas Dinner.

Make it a festive day to remember.

December 2: Pat Serra. December 6: Kaye Butler. December 28: Laurie Noonan — a sprightly 91. Our ‘‘Chief’’ returned from up north with her first-ever sun tan. She thoroughly enjoyed her time away.

Saturday, January 12, will be the return of the bowls group, hopefully refreshed, and ready to go for the new year.

We’ve had a fairly good year this year and are looking forward to 2019.

We have two more newspaper days to go for this year.

Bowls: Morrie Serra and Ann Causby. Pool: Allan Richardson. Cards: Margaret Chance. Games: Sandra Weirzbinski. Comp: Sandra Weirzbinski.
