Branch starts to take shape
Tatura’s first ambulance branch is starting to take shape at the Casey St construction site, Tatura.
The branch is part of a statewide $500 million plan to employ 450 more paramedics, buy new vehicles, build more stations and cut response times across Victoria.
The government initiative aims to provide Tatura locals with access to quicker responses when faced with life-threatening emergencies.
The new state-of-the-art branch 24/7 home base will give paramedics safe and modern facilities and is expected to be completed by mid next year.
