The wine list is one of those book-like compilations so unwieldy and distinguished that only serious wine bores could waste much energy on it. We take the route of asking Morrison to select wines by the glass to suit our courses. After starting with Australian Cuvee Guillaume sparkling (the champagnes, upwards of $25
a glass, are beyond our budget), Morrison unearths enjoyable, mostly domestic wines
in the $15 a glass region. Unlimited filtered still or sparkling water is complimentary, setting a precedent that should become
the norm at this level.
