The fam­ily-run op­er­a­tion nes­tled be­tween river and moun­tain in the Huon Val­ley started as a hobby farm of four rows of vines in the early 1990s. Twenty years af­ter their first ten­ta­tive com­mer­cial har­vest, for­mer ap­ple grow­ers and cat­tle farm­ers Rose­mary and Terry Ben­nett have proved wine can grow suc­cess­fully in the Huon.
