WITH a focus on providing affordable prices in convenient locations, the group of locally owned and operated Alive Pharmacy stores is undergoing an exciting evolution.

Growing from humble beginnings to now encompass 10 stores, the combined history of the local owners of Alive stretches back for decades in Far North Queensland.

This month, the local owners are excited to launch a bold new brand to reflect the evolution to Alive Pharmacy Warehouse — a locally-owned group of pharmacies with great prices, convenient locations and a focus on giving back to our community.

You will see the new Alive branded stores at Mt Sheridan Plaza, Edmonton, Mulgrave Rd (next to Spotlight) and Innisfail, with more to follow over coming months.

To celebrate the launch of the new brand’s catalogue on Tuesday, July 31, the first 200 customers to visit one of the newly branded stores will receive a free calico shopping bag — a great gift with the plastic bag ban now in place.

The new branding reflects the vibrancy and reliability of the Alive Pharmacy Warehouse commitment to healthy lifestyles, trusted advice and wide product offering, all delivered with a caring customer service approach in mind.

To complement its prescription service, the Alive Pharmacy Warehouse network is now also home to its very own pharmacy that specialises in compounding, located at the Mulgrave Rd store.

This means Alive pharmacists trained and qualified in compounding can provide a wide range of specialist medicine tailored to suit your specific needs.

To further boost the new Alive Pharmacy Warehouse brand, product ranges and additional services have been increased across the entire network of 10 pharmacies under its banner.

Meanwhile, greater buying power means better prices for Alive customers.

The entire Alive team prides itself on delivering a strong focus on preventative health and promoting healthy lifestyles.

As one of the Alive Pharmacy Warehouse owners says: “We get to know our customers’ health requirements really well and all stores provide medication clinics, a focus on vitamin supplements that support dietary intake while also stocking an increasing range of sports nutrition items.”

Of course, the new look Alive Pharmacy Warehouse stores also feature an excellent selection of health and beauty products, from fragrances to cosmetics.

You’ll find all the big brands such as L’Oreal, Maybelline, Covergirl, Rimmel, Max Factor, Natio, and other designer brands including Napoleon Perdis are still available at the Smithfield Shopping Centre pharmacy as an exclusive to the group.

During August, the Alive Pharmacy Group was pleased to support the Cairns Community Ambassador for YWAM Medical Ships. The community campaign collects unwanted glasses to be distributed to patients in rural and remote areas of Papua New Guinea. This will make a significant difference in protecting eyesight and reducing the risk of pterygiums (growth on the eye) in those communities.

Locals are encouraged to drop their unwanted pairs of glasses into Alive Pharmacy Warehouse stores, so they can be handed over to the MV YWAM PNG medical and training ship when it docks in Cairns on its way to Papua New Guinea.

Make sure you visit the refreshed Alive Pharmacy Warehouse stores for the convenience of several new locations and very competitive prices, where the focus is always on helping customers be “healthy, happy, alive”.
