Club members and their cars will be gathering at the Caltex service station on the highway at Gordonvale at 8.20am before leaving 10 minutes later for Herberton.
Chapter president Justin Nicholls said they would drive up the Gillies Range to Yungaburra, meet other members at the village before heading to Atherton and then on to Herberton.
He said members would then visit the Herberton Historic Village, followed by a BYO lunch in the village’s grounds. “Organiser Neil Newcombe has been in contact with the owners of Mareeba Warbirds who have agreed that all participants who display their vehicles on this day will receive free entry,’’ he said. The departure point will be at Smithfield.
