Partnering to deliver homes

KERDIC and Ausfor, the developers of Forest Gardens, have partnered with some of Cairns’ leading building companies to offer house and land packages.

Frank Thompson of Anchor Industries has started building a stunning two-storey, fourbedroom, two-bathroom home on Lot 110 Treetops Dr (above left), which has been designed by well respected Cairns architect George James.

The location of this house will provide panoramic views and cooling breezes.

Anchor Industries has been constructing residential buildings in Cairns and the Tableland for the past 40 years, and Frank has expressed his excitement at building his latest home in such a great location on a great lot, now under construction and scheduled for completion January, 2016. Adrian Manning of Manning Builders, another long established Cairns builder with 30 years’ experience, is about to start construction of his latest Forest Gardens house on Lot 111 Treetops Dr (below left).

Forest Gardens developer Bruce Dickson says builders buying lots is a great sign of approval for the estate, and a positive sign for the Cairns economy as builders usually only buy lots and build spec homes when the market is on an upward move.

“Beaumont Terrace is our latest stage and soon to be completed, which is sure soon to be a premier address in Cairns, with every lot offering panoramic views and most with level, S-class building pads,” Bruce said.

Bruce advised there are only eight lots remaining for sale in the Treetops precinct, which are all elevated and ready to build on now from $179,000.
