Plumbing business expands up north
FIRST established in Brisbane in 1989, All Districts Plumbing (ADP) recently expanded its services into regional areas of Queensland, including Cairns.
The team will be working throughout the Christmas break and will be on-hand should any plumbing emergencies arise during the festive season.
Mike Brown, who co-owns the business with his wife Anna, is ADP’s QBCC nominated supervisor and is a fully qualified plumbing and drainage expert.
He says key clients asked for support in regional areas of Queensland, which set the course for ADP opening in Cairns.
Mike and Anna have worked in regional Queensland and abroad for the past 20 years, predominantly in the hospitality industry looking after property assets.
ADP is dedicated to excellence and service, Mike says. “A major priority also is to maintain highly qualified staff and to give them the opportunities for promotion and to enhance their skills, which in turn provides our clients with the most efficient and cost-effective solution to their maintenance requirements,” he says.
“ADP’s ethos is for continuous improvement.
“We continue to strive to find new ways to improve services and to change as required.”
Anna has held senior operational positions supporting the growth of new businesses throughout Australia.
During this time she developed many skills, which have been well utilised during ADP’s continued expansion.
ADP’s Cairns business is led by Murray Maunder, a local with more than 35 years’ experience in the plumbing trade.
Murray has superior skills in all aspects of plumbing maintenance; from domestic through to commercial plumbing.
He works ‘on the tools’ with the local team, and together they provide comprehensive plumbing maintenance service, including: burst water mains, leak location, hot water heater servicing and replacement, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, blocked stormwater and sewer drains, toilet and tap repairs and replacement, roof and gutter repairs, and roof, plant and condition reports.
