WATCH THE KIDS BUG OUT

BRING your kids to an exciting and educationa­l exhibition at the Cairns Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre. It features a live bug collection with a range of rainforest bugs, prehistori­c critters and insect collection boards. The exhibition is running every day until January 22. There is no admission fee.

MILESTONE MARKED WITH TEA

THE Mulgrave Settlers Museum is celebratin­g its silver anniversar­y later this month. Come along on January 26 between 10am and 2pm and join the team for a cup of tea and some damper. The event is being held at 60 Gordon St, Gordonvale. Entry is free. Contact 4056 1810 for more informatio­n.

CHINESE NEW YEAR FUN
