TAKING another step on her transformation from TV star to princess bride, Meghan Markle has made her first official charity appearance.
The former Suits actor joined her fiance Prince Harry at the Endeavour Fund awards ceremony in London, honouring the achievements of wounded servicemen and women in adventure and sporting challenges.
The Endeavour Fund is led by the Royal Foundation, the main charity of Prince Harry, his brother Prince William and William’s wife Catherine.
After her May 19 wedding, Ms Markle is expected to join the other three “young royals’’ in heading the foundation.
She has been in royal training, attending community events with Harry as she prepares for her role as a member of the royal family.
The couple met the award nominees at a reception before attending the awards ceremony.
The Endeavour Fund encourages injured veterans to rediscover their self-belief and fighting spirit through physical challenges, and supports activities that contribute to their recovery through mentorship, qualifications or work opportunities.
