Far North pays tribute to women in business

THE Far North community celebrated its women leaders last night with the Cairns Business Women’s Club’s annual gala awards.

Finalists for business woman of the year were Amy Bender from AJA Bookkeeping Services, Sue Fitcher from Getaway Trekking, Julie Johnston from Property Shop, Hannah Lane from Berry Lane Hair, Dianne Sciacca from Pacific Coast and Eco Bananas and Cathie Webb from The Source Bulk Foods Cairns.

Club president Jules Steer (left) said all finalists were “extraordinary business women whose achievements deserved to be recognised and celebrated”.

Cairns Business Women’s Club 2018 Business Woman of the Year Awards were held at Pullman Cairns International.
