Solid medal haul

CAIRNS Rowing Club members have returned home after a solid performance at the National Masters Rowing Championships at Lake Barrington, Tasmania last weekend. Club members Kylie Pedder, Alison Kirkwood, Laurent De Wiele and Peter Thoren snared 18 medals, including three gold, eight silver and seven bronzes during the four-day championship regatta, which was rowed in mostly cold and windy conditions.
