Designed to provide services for people who are becoming unwell and people who are in the early stages of recovery from an acute illness and need a short period of additional support and consolidation.

The pathways to enter the facility can be described as a “step up” from the person’s place of residence or “step down” from an inpatient unit.

Least restrictive, recovery focuses care in the community.
